Since its foundation in 2019, this faculty has educated approximately 600 students by 38 faculty professors. It has also sent about 200 Bachelor's in Agriculture into society. We welcome motivated domestic and overseas students to join our faculty and learn about food and agricultural sciences, environment and sustainability studies, rural issues, and local community building, as well as disaster and revitalization research, from theoretical, practical, and innovative viewpoints.
Dean Satoshi Arai
By teaching food and agricultural sciences comprehensively and practically, our goal is to develop individuals with the knowledge, skills, and application skills to contribute to solving the problems faced by food, agriculture, forestry, natural resources, and local communities in the 21st century.
Through an education in agriculture comprised of the two pillars of "food and agriculture specialized education" and "agricultural practice-based education," students learn food and agricultural sciences and cultivate an ability to work on the most pressing problems facing food and agriculture today.
